Title: Pains
Rating: G
Length: 277
Competitor: Dom
Round/Fight: 1/A
Summary: Kels Monthlies are here, and Dom just liked to harass her
She was in pain and it was one of those pains she new she couldn’t escape from. Why in the name of The Great Mother Goddess did this have to hurt so much? And every month too! As if it wasn’t already hard enough for her being a female knight. Possibly the worst part about all of this was that she was surrounded by men. Men who had no inkling of the kind of pain she was in at the moment; who thought it was trifling. She was seriously considering marching up to the next man who asked how she was feeling and run him through with a lance before asking the same question. Kel, a normally strong woman who hated to be thought of as weaker than a man, was feeling particularly vulnerable right now. The last thing she needed was the company of a man.
He was feeling particularly jovial tonight. He’d trained well today and he hadn’t had dinner duty either, so he was able to relax all evening. In fact, the only thing he had missed was the chance to joke around with Kel like he usually did. Make no mistakes, he thought she was a remarkable young woman and he had no prejudices about a female knight, but it was his mission in life to crack that Yamani mask of hers. It wasn’t too late; maybe he’d wander over to her tent and see just how riled he could get her.
a few minutes later
“OUT OUT OUT! Get out!” Kel screamed as Dom dashed from the tent, tripping and stumbling over his own feet in his haste. Never again he thought.
