Title: Tug-of-War Rating:G Length: 150 words Competitor: Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Kel is a blanket hog.
-----
The morning air had frosted the windowpanes and one could see his breath in the unheated palace rooms. It was the kind of morning in which no one wanted to get up, and even the servants would be sluggish.
Wyldon woke up very suddenly, and realized it was because he was shivering violently. Where’d the covers go? he thought drowsily, closing his eyes again and feeling around for the blankets. He found an edge and pulled. It didn’t budge. He frowned, half-asleep, and pulled again. When he still didn’t find any yield, he rolled over and scowled as he saw the problem.
Keladry had managed to wrap herself up in all the covers, that blanket hog. He grabbed the blanket and yanked it away from her. She mumbled in her sleep, rolled over, and snuggled close to him.
Women, he thought grumpily, already slipping into dreams. They want everything.

Aha! I sympathise with Kel, being a duvet hog myself ;D It's the way forward. I love the domestic moments.
