Title: Winter Rating: G Length: 102 Competitor: Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Kel compares Wyldon to a winter's day.
--
Wyldon was just like winter, Kel thought dreamily, pulling the covers up so she was protected from the frigid draught. He could appear cold and crisp on the outside, though perhaps comparing his loss of hair to the loss of greenery was a step too far.
Inside, though, when she was off-duty, that was the best part of winter. The warm heart of fires, and staying up until you could see the sky begin to pinken. Perhaps he wasn't as merry as Midwinter, but she liked that he didn't just kiss her for luck, and didn't need to make excuses for it.

I adore this - you've worked so much into such little space. The cold and crisp is so very Wyldon.

Lovely fic, and so very sweetly descriptive.
