He doesn't speak of it, but she knows the Chamber haunts him still. When the build up to Midwinter comes, each and every year, he withdraws into himself. The first time she notices, she tries everything to pull him out of it, but eventually, she learns there is nothing to be done, no use telling him he wasn't responsible. When the last Ordeal is over, then he will relax and begin to smile again.
It has its toll to take on her too, though, and she finds herself twitching awake in the middle of the night, drowning in icy blue eyes.
