Title: Wrong Rating: G Length: 130 Competitor: Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Wyldon admits defeat
--
Wyldon isn't the sort of man who likes to admit he's wrong - though he doesn't think there are many men like that, or certainly not of his acquaintance. Unfortunately, Keladry of Mindelan chooses to make him eat his words so often that he has simply ceased to base expectations around her, which he finds is the only way not to be proved continuously wrong.
Keladry, to her credit, doesn't rub it in his face, and never brings up her probationary period, but his conscience raises the point so often that he doesn't have to.
He tries once to apologise for it, but she refuses to accept it, instead thanking him for helping her.
Adversary is a fine teacher, but it wasn't a technique Wyldon had ever thought to employ.

This fits so perfectly in my little treasure-trove of "facts about Wyldon" - that Kel saw way more in him than he deserved (or refused to see what was there).

Hee, Kel adores and respects him too much for his own good.
