Title: The King and his People Rating: G Length: 122 Competitor: Wyldon Round/Fight: 1/A Summary: Jon worries about his people
--
Jonathan is wary when he first spots the signs. He prides himself on being very good at reading people - of course, his work as the Voice of the Tribes doesn't harm this - but Lady Knight Keladry is hard enough to read. Lord Wyldon is worse.
He has watched her closely through her time at the palace, and worries about her, about the things that Wyldon used to say and think. Physically, he knows she can take care of herself, but mentally?
Finally, he seeks out Thayet's advice, and she laughs at him. People can change, she tells him, and reminds him of what they've both endured together. Let them work it out, she entreats. Not every problem is your problem.

Lovely fic! And yes, Jon should stay well away, for his own good as well.
