Title: Griffin Feathers Are Deadly Rating: PG Length:109 Competitor: Raoul Round: 1/C Summary: It's really the sun's fault, if it weren't so hot today...
“Dom pointed at Kel as she peeled the band from her forehead, showing Raoul the griffin feathers.”
It amused him when she jumped at his sudden appearance. He supposed she had a difficult time imagining how a large man like himself could move with such stealth. He placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her, and blamed the sudden heat rushing through his hand up his arm and into his chest on her armor’s absorbance of the day’s warmth. But the brush of Kel’s fingers against his face as she tied the band of feathers around his brow nearly made him lose focus—a deadly thing to lose in battle. He was grateful to the blazing sun and the heat of battle, it hid his blush.

Love this! Oh Raoul, trying to blame the weather for his un-knight-masterly feelings!

un-knight-masterly feelings! jazzyjess I don't know... it seems logical and actually pretty normal for members of the opposite sex to be attracted to each other, especially if you've spent day in and day out with someone for years upon years (and are not related). And if you remember - there is of course Jon and Alanna. And who knows what happens between other Knight Masters and their squires... it is a part of their job to... give the birds and bee's talk after all. We just don't know, but if we look at other evidence (Alanna and Jon, then is seems possible that this is normal...) Love it! ^_^
