Summary: Raoul's Squire finds out about him and Lady Kel in a rather unconventional way.
It was long after the Midnight bell Raoul of Goldenlake and Malorie’s Peak snuck out of out of the Lady Knight‘s rooms, adjusting his belt and looking rather rumpled. What he wasn’t counting was running into his current (and insomniac) Squire directly outside of said rooms. Young Eric of Jasslaw was staring at his knight master with a mixture of awe and terror. The mere idea of his aunt and the older knight was slightly disturbing.
“Ah, Eric, what are you doing here?”
“I could ask you the same question.” If one thing was to be said of Eric, it was that he said what he thought with very little filter. Some said too little. Raoul was of that mind in this situation.
“ I had something to discuss with the Lady Knight.”
“With your belt off, Sir?”
“It was a…very long discussion” he replied, a small smile on his face that toughly worried the younger man.
“Sir. You are a very bad man.”
“So I have been told.”

I love the last bit. And it makes me wonder how many times he's been told between way back then and now.
