It’s the feel of his lips on the back of her neck that wakes her up. It tickles her flesh, and takes her quickly from the groggy state of half-sleep to a more excited state of mind.
“Good morning,” Raoul murmurs, running a hand down her arm. She can feel his enthusiasm, with him pushed up against her backside. Or maybe it’s just because it’s morning. “Did you sleep well?”
“Well enough,” she lies. “What time is it?”
“Almost dawn. Was I snoring?”
“A bit.” She slides her foot along his leg, letting him know that she’s game for more, if he is.
