There are a hundred reasons why not, reasons that say “your wife” and “your family”, reasons that mean the sword of a nation and the heart of a boy.

It’s a life of just-once-mores and of pain and of guilt, but it doesn’t stop and it’s just a flood that pulls them under until there’s no room left to struggle.

Then there is a child and she says “I love you Domitan” but the coal black eyes are an endless accusation, and he says “This has to end” but she whispers “One more time” and the world doesn’t stop on its axis though they believe it just might.
