Title: Blankets Rating: PG Length: 166 Competitor: Faleron Round/Fight: 2/A Summary: Sleeping situations.
…
It is strange to remember the nights she slept without him – because she hasn’t slept alone since her childhood in Yaman, always with cats and birds and sparrows, always having to lie still, to accommodate her furred and feathered friends.
She shifts, hand coming up between her cheek and the pillow beneath it and he stirs behind her, hand sliding around her waist as he pulls her closer, their bodies fitted together like spoons – all, from the slow even beat of his heart, the rhythm of his breathing still matching the waves breaking softly on Gainel’s shores (whose realms Faleron explores without fail, each and every night) while remaining deeply fast asleep.
She doesn’t even need to fight him for possession of the blankets, because they never need any, the heat of their own bodies more than enough.
As a sudden rush of gladness hits her, she pulls his arm more securely around her as she slips off into the Dream King’s care as well. Smiling.

This is sweet The inclusion of Gainel really adds something to the story too.
