Title: 3. Modus Ponens
Rating: G
Length: 210
Competitor: Raoul
Round/Fight: 2/A
Summary: The application of the method of affirming.
Note: You may blame my philosophy exam for the following series. In fact, please blame that exam with every atom of your existence, enough so that it will award me an A out of guilt. Thanks in advance.

Lesson Two: Modus Ponens. If P then Q; P, therefore Q.
Having successfully determined your situation and reconciling it with my own beliefs concerning your whereabouts in the evenings, my next task was to apply the method of affirming to the situation. You could really use to lower that brow. Staring at me with that ridiculous expression doesn’t cause me to feel intimidated; it just makes me want to laugh. I know exactly what you’re thinking! But I will not let your scepticism intimidate me.
Where was I? Ah, of course. So, having successfully determined your situation, I discovered that it would be prudent to further analyse this case. There could be only one reason why you would feel the need to sneak away in order to hide your location – and really, my good friend, this was the easiest part.
Assuming that you were, indeed, sneaking away, the only likely reason would be that you were meeting someone. If we continue to operate under this assumption, if hypothetically you were sneaking out, then you must have been meeting someone. I have cause to believe that yes, you were sneaking out, and, should we accept the method of affirming, it therefore follows that you we meeting someone.
Have I confused you yet? I should hope not, because I have hardly even begun.
