Summary: Raoul can’t stop thinking about her, and water. Read with I love to Swim.
Note: Good idea, poorly executed. I don’t feel like this came out quite the way it wanted to… oh well.
Shock had permeated his body as he found his quarry off the track, swimming naked. He’d stayed stock still, afraid to move, as the reason for his pursuit was swept from his mind to be replaced by water droplets flowing from flicking hair, and sun glistening from creamy wet skin as the owner of the skin dived and swam and jumped out of the water with the splendor of a goddess.
Desire had stirred and kept him from announcing his presence, and as he burned from passion and mortification, he prayed she wouldn’t notice him.
He stared broodingly into the fire, trying not to think of her. The glint of a water droplet on her hardened peak whilst in mid flight flashed though his mind in the fire; the flames devouring the image as soon as it appeared, did not remove those burned in his memory.
The next time he saw her, his body flushed crimson in remembrance, and he felt like a fool.
