Summary: Why is Blue her favorite color?
Dom had been asking Kel for almost a month what her favorite color was. Somehow she always found a way to get around the subject. Once she had even told him “It wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the colors if I had a favorite now would it?” The thought had sent him into laughter and she had slipped away. Now he had a different rout. He had asked Neal who said it used to be russet red, but it may have changed. He asked Tobe, who said “My Lady doesn’t have time for colors” Which left Dom wondering for a while. He had asked Raoul who said, brown. Why? Dom didn’t know. He hadn’t even looked up from the report he was writing when he said it. Then Dom had the Idea to ask Yuki, Yuki was a girl, girls talk about their favorite colors…right?
So Dom asked Yuki. “Blue” Yuki said, “But not just any blue, if your getting her a present it’s got to be dark blue, a sapphire shade.” Then it stuck Dom as odd that the color blue was so precise. Perhaps his next question would be why blue?
Later that day Dom walked up to Kel and asked “So, why is your favorite color blue?”
