A/N: Emmm, this is my take 1 on the Vampire discussion...
Raoul knew there was something different with Kel… He’d noticed the change the moment she had sauntered into Fort Steadfast. Her skin was pale for a girl—young woman, who spent so much time outdoors. And she was slimmer and somehow less fragile than before—but Kel had never seemed fragile before… And her clothes. They were all so dark now, all black or grey or red that brought out the dark color of her lips. Like fresh blood. Raoul watched her hazel eyes almost glow in the moonlight, and when she smiled, he felt the sudden need to go to her. But for the life of him, he didn’t know why.
