“But TWO sets of court wear typically aren’t in the requirements.” And it was true, he had to admit. But Raoul knew his squire loved to remind people of her femininity, and there was no better time for that than on progress. So along with her new hose, tunic and shirts, he was ordering for her a few gowns.
He also had to admit that he loved seeing her in Goldenlake colors, the deep green of the dress bringing out her eyes, and the cloth of gold sir coat accentuating her tanned skin. That maid of hers was a magician with a needle, as the fabric highlighted her curves. For all that he loved the look of her in the gown, he couldn't help but think she would look better without it…
