Title: What Goes Up Rating: PG-13 Length: 148 words Character: Wyldon Summary: …must come down. (Inspired by Tom Petty’s “Learning to Fly”, from my K/W playlist!)
Coming down is the hardest thing. We spend a night together, exploring the hundreds of ways we can make each other writhe in pleasure, learning the tricks to elicit gasps and moans. It’s a sexual connection that neither of us expected. And that neither of us can get enough of.
She’s like an addiction, a false high that I would beg for, that I would risk everything to get one more taste of.
When we part, there are no tender exchanges about how much we’ll miss one another. She clasps my forearm, and I grip hers tightly, wondering when she will be naked and in my arms again.
And when she is finally gone, it’s just me in my bed, counting up all the ways I’m a fool, and all the reasons I should refrain from touching her again.
Knowing that I won’t be able to control myself.

Oh, very well written. I like the Wyldon POV. Good job! ...and Lisa--you have a K/W playlist?

Thank you!! And yeah, toward the beginning of SMACKDOWN I created a playlist of songs that made me think of their dynamic. There'll likely be a few songs posted this weekend based off of it.

That's not a bad idea...of course I don't have enough music in general to create a playlist for just two characters, so I tend to put my iPod on shuffle. It's a neat idea though!

I love the dynamics between them here, and how it's just about physical pleasure - and of course how he berates himself afterwards.

I do love this, especially how the one emotional connection is guilt- and nothing more

I so totally and utterly guttered the title
I really like the first-person POV - it adds an interesting perspective to their relationship.

LOL, I did too! The POV (that it's Wyldon's, not Kel's) is a nice change
