Title: Spring Rating: PG Length: 109 words Character: Owen Summary: Kel and Owen court in Springtime (part one of four in a Seasons series I'm doing)
Owen reminds her sometimes of Spring. Bright sunshine lending a glow to all the surroundings, and animals frolicking in the fields with youthful exuberance. Kel herself feels fresh, rejuvenated after a long war-filled winter.
In their long, leisurely hours, they are free to explore the world as Nature renews itself. Kel gets used to dew-soaked clothes, and shaking grass out from her hair, and giggling as blossom settles on Owen. He isn’t the sort to mind, though, and presents her with bouquets of wild flowers, which she likes more than any bunch of roses she’s seen.
It is an odd courtship, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

*loves* I adore the "he isn't the sort to mind" line. So very Owen.
