Title: War and Peas Rating: G Length: 171 words Character: Wyldon Summary: Ewain refuses to eat his vegetables.
“I can’t take this anymore,” Kel said, setting down the tiny spoon and stomping across the dining room. “He won’t eat it – he just spits is right back up.”
“Keladry, no child eats everything he’s given. Weren’t there foods you hated as a child?”
“No,” she retorted. “So I’m assuming that he gets his dislike of peas from you?”
“Nonsense. I love them.”
Kel exhaled sharply, trying to rein in her temper. “You’re not helping, Wyldon. Will you just try to get him to eat his dinner?”
He eyed her warily and recognized that she was at the end of her rope. Picking up the spoon, he scooted closer to his son and scooped up some of the mashed peas. “I know you don’t like them, Ewain, but will you at least try so your mother doesn’t kill us both?”
Their child took a spoonful of the detested mashed vegetables and did not immediately spit it out again.
“Great,” Kel muttered. “Either our son prefers you, or he’s afraid of me.”

It's the non-S part, which is used in slang as a synonym for a certain feminine physiological attribute. He really does have the experience...

I wonder if we can't get a change to the word filter, because s p o o n is a pretty common word. *shrug*

Hee, I have this mental imagine of Wyldon and Ewain on a little guys' conspiracy now! I love how frustrated Kel is by Ewain defying her. Kids are a law unto themselves. ;D
And I have to say, I had no idea s-p-o-o-n could be considered a rude word in any way. Well, you learn something new every day..
