Title: Perspective Rating: PG Length: 146 words Character: Wyldon Summary: things look different, in a new setting
She was surprised, when she saw him again, that he was only an inch taller than her. And his shoulders actually weren’t that broad. She wondered if, perhaps, it was a matter of perspective. In her tiny room at New Hope, with her comparatively smaller hands running over his strong body, it seemed more impressive.
Here in the Crystal Ballroom he seemed narrower. His powerful biceps were less formidable when his wife’s arm was woven through his, and her delicate hands, so much daintier than Kel’s ever had been, clutched playfully at him. His mouth, which she associated with heat and fire and pleasure, was pressed into a cold, tight line as he studied her.
“Lady Knight Keladry,” he finally greeted, nodding his head in deference. His voice – which had the ability to make her jump or melt, depending on the inflection – was exactly the same.

There's so much complexity in this, and I love it! I like how Wyldon seems so different now.

This was inspired by watching Ed Harris movies, 'cause he always seems bigger than he really is. (please don't gutter that, Mandi.)
