Kel found herself dreaming about Owen. They weren’t her usual dreams of being back in training or of finding herself in a tournament without a lance. These were dreams that left her waking up feeling unsatisfied and wishing she could crawl into bed with him.
And each night, as she tried to fall back to sleep, she would remember her dreams and what his lips felt like on her throat and breasts, and she would imagine what making love to him would be like. She wondered: what if she was missing out on the greatest thing she could ever have?
