He frowned, but nodded. “I’ll try to do that. I miss having you so prominent in my life, Kel. You’ve always been my closest friend.”
Her heart broke a little at the misery on his face. Worse, she wished she could hold onto him and somehow make him feel better. She wanted to touch him and kiss him, and promise herself to him completely.
