Title: Slip and Fall

Summary: Beka slips on her way to the Goodwin household.

Beka slipped on ice on her way to the Goodwin household. As the pain exploded through her tailbone, Beka found that it would be inadvisable for her to move. It took her only a minute before she felt large strong hands around her.
“Tom?” Beka asked.
“Shh,” He replied picking her up and bringing her into the small house and lying her on what appeared to be a soft bed.
“I don’t remember this bed being here.” She murmured.
“It wasn’t. I’m fixing it for a friend.”
That was the last thing Beka heard as she fell asleep. Tom couldn’t help but smile as moved over and started to cook.

As Beka came to, she could smell something wonderful being cooked. She couldn’t tell what it was, but anything Tom cooked would prove to be wonderful. Opening her eyes, Beka saw that the house was decorated with lovely greens and reds accented by sprigs of greenery. Beka thought that it really was quite lovely. As she sat up, she saw that Tom was coming towards her with a plate of steaming hot food.
“Don’t try to stand up yet. I’ve sent for a healer to look you over, but in the meantime, here is some food.”
“Thanks,” she replied taking the food.
“You know I only cook for the women I love,” he said as the food went ignored for awhile longer.
