Title: A Duchess' Job

Summary: Yuki plans a party.
Yuki hated planning parties, but that is one of the many things a Duchess does. This party was to welcome home her Duke, who had been off fighting and healing people for the last several months. There was going to be a feast with perfect decorations followed by dancing, and Yuki had made sure that as many of their friends as could make it were there. Once these friends arrives, they could help in the direction of the servants in how to hang the tapestries cook the roast and whatnot, but until then Yuki was the one everyone looked to for direction. She had lived in Tortall for more than long enough to know how everything was done, but she still didn’t feel completely comfortable.

When the party was over and everyone had retired to their chambers, Yuki and Neal found themselves alone for the first time in what seemed like forever. He turned to her bowed and said, “Come here my flower, so I can reward you for a wonderful party.”
Bowing back, she replied, “I was just doing my job.”
Maybe once we'd have seen it during Smackdown!
