Summary: More Gary and Cythera
Gary was woken abruptly. "What - what's that sound?"
He rolled over to see Cythera already out of bed and dressed, looking splendid in her favourite yellow gown. She was dressing her ash-blonde hair with tiny silver bells that tinkled every time she moved. Turning this way and that in the mirror, she then looked at her husband. "What do you think?"
Gary blinked at her through sleep-filled eyes. "What time is it?"
"Early," she answered, "Thayet wanted to do something today. But what do you think?" She motioned to her hair again.
"It's...lovely." Noisy.
She smiled in satisfaction. "Well, I'll probably see you this afternoon." She picked up her shawl and came over to kiss him, before walking out the door. Gary was still blinking in confusion when she was gone.
"Urgh, women," he groaned, and shoved his pillow over his head, trying to block out the tinkle tinkle tinkle that he could still hear echoing down the hallway.
