Title: As If You Were Never Here Rating (and Warnings): G Prompt: #6 Mistletoe Summary: A refusal and a broken heart.
She knelt slowly as the street emptied around her. With shaking hands, she softly extracted the crumpled piece of mistletoe from the trodden down snow. Tears pricked at her eyes. She tried to hold them back, to retain some form of dignity, but the scene played through her mind again and again. She could do nothing but sit in the street and cry, the snow dampening her dress, as she watched her love leave her, trampling the mistletoe into the ground as he walked away.

Awwww. So sad, but you've written it so well! Who'd you have in mind as you wrote it? I just want to give her a big hug and him a big slap.

Thankyou!
I didn't really have anyone in mind, but I'm starting to see it as Vania. Poor thing.

Oh, this was so bitter and painful and I love it. I like that you kept it vague, too. For some reason I was imagining a young Eleni.
