Title: An Education in Euphemisms Rating (and Warnings): PG (Er Implications) Word Count: 65 Summary: Being in the mortal realms was an education in itself. Notes: More like two sentences but it would look right for me if it didn't.
Basilisks all had the ability to understand languages of all kinds but the sheer number of euphemisms mortals had for various situations was staggering; Tkaa thought at times it would be impossible for humans to get through a meal without inadvertently making a mating advance- but Tkaa was a avid learner he would discover what all those odd idioms meant.
After all, basilisks love wordplay.
