The night had been most tedious. Everytime she so much as touched a wine glass, she could feel their disapproving eyes on her, whispering that it wasn’t proper for a Princess to carry on as she did.

So she’d stayed to the side of the room, sipping her wine and watching him. He was young for her usual taste, but he would do tonight. He did have delicious green eyes.

Vania hoped his wife wouldn’t mind.

Not that it made a difference.

She sauntered over with her most charming smile and tapped his shoulder. “Sir Nealan? I need some air...”
