You can't go wrong with Kit. Everything she writes is beautifully nuanced, veined with sensitivity, and you just can't help feeling for her protagonist (even if you thought you shipped another way). She's the sort of writer who can make any character live and breathe her words. I've only included one SMACKDOWN rec, but thoroughly recommend more if you get the chance.

Title: Myles Moments
Rating: G
Summary: A collection of stories, drabbles and poems, each of which featuring Sir Myles of Olau in any way they can.
Because: It's Myles. Sorely underused in fanon, but this fic highlights him in all his glory; quirky and not afraid to stand out from the crowd.

Title: Needs
Rating: PG-13
Summary: After thirteen years, Alianne would be hovering around 30. She married and had children very, very young. An examination of mother, husband, and baby, and how sometimes love can't quite be enough.
Because: Each part sinks into the next effortlessly, with clever use of repetitions.

Title: Almost Real
Rating: R
Summary: Scars don’t give—they’re like iron that way—and Polyam wonders if that is why Daja can bear to touch her. One sentance, 50 themes.
Because: They're characters who I wouldn't have thought would work together, but in Kitty's hands, it all seems plausible and why-didn't-I-think-of-that-before.
