Okay, I was wondering if when you read a series over and you keep thinking. They get married, or they have kids or he dies. Stuff like that.
I reread the immortals series and I just kept thinking, they have kids and stuff like that same with SOTL does anyone else do that.

I do it more if it's a series or book that I've read recently; if it's been a while, I simply enjoy the journey, and all the nuances that I'd half-forgotten.
But I'm a little lame, and I still read Pride and Prejudice and get (mildly) concerned that Darcy and Elizabeth won't end up together.

When I reread The Immortals I sometimes hope that Ozorne wins, just cause it has the potential for some awesome evil, and lots and lots of sparkly eyeliner.
I do like rediscovering things in books though.

Sometimes when I reread books I notice little interesting plot details that I missed before, which I really like. Also, Rosie- I do the same thing with Persuasion.

Even after all the reads of the SotL books I still notice new things when I read, characters who turn up in later books/series etc!
Yet still the deaths creep up on me when I am least expecting them (Faithful especially makes me SOB!)

My jaw actually dropped and I sat there with my mouth hanging open in shock the last time I re-read Faithful's death scene. Apparently I had blocked it out the first time I read LR.

I love rereading them and seeing all the tiny little interactions between characters that might lead to something later that I never picked up on before. Like little things that George or Numair do, and I'm going '*squee*, he's in love with her!'.
