Hey! I'm Gem (mostly known as fyrethief everywhere). May nudged me in this direction. I'm going to say right from the start, I don't know how often I'll be on here: I never seem to have enough time to get online these days, and I'm constantly fighting a losing battle with my computer!

Anyway, I used to be on the 'Dove - and post fanfics on ff.n. I got into TP when I was about 12/13; started with The Immortals (which probably remains my favourite quartet - but my animal-love has a big part to play in that). I'm much more of a Tortall than Emelan fan (The Will of the Empress has been sitting, unread, on my shelf for about three years now!). I'm pretty out of touch with fandoms in general right now.

I'm never sure how much to say in these intro post things... Apart from TP, I'm into Robin Hood (BBC series), Doctor Who & Torchwood, X-Men and other comic books (anyone seen the new Woverine film?!).

Welcome to Goldenlake, Gem!

Apart from TP, I'm into Robin Hood (BBC series), Doctor Who & Torchwood, X-Men and other comic books (anyone seen the new Woverine film?!).

While I cannot say I am a fan of these (except Tammy, of course), Em (yes?/no?) likes most of those shows.

And yeah, I like Robin Hood, Doctor Who, and Torchwood. Have you seen BBC's Merlin? It's my new love at the moment!

Yep, I saw all but the finale. *headdesk* I enjoyed it and found it a lot of fun, but I didn't fall completely in love with it like a lot of people seem to have. I think I need to re-watch it.

And, yes, Wolverine was goooood.

I think I must be about the only person that doesn't watch Robin Hood for Richard Armitage. I like him as an actor, but as Gisborne he just doesn't do anything for me.

Yay for being a comic-book fan!

I'm not as hardcore a fan as I'd like to be but I just love comic books. I used to buy quite a lot when I was at uni, but unfortunately I don't have a store near me any more.
