Hello, all. I'm jukebox  let's see, I'm 17. I live in Florida. I've read all of Tammy's books except the Circle of Magic and Kel books-honestly, I just don't have an interest in them. Don't hate me? Favorite characters in order: Dove, Daine, Beka, Ali, Kora, Alanna, Sarai (lasses) Rosto, Ersken, George, Nawat, Phelan (lads) Other fandoms: Les Miserables, Brothers and Sisters (is my icon!), Bones, Newsies I fic sometimes; I would more, but there's little time for anything besides school and sleep. so how are y'all? |

Hello and welcome to Goldenlake! I must admit, the Circle of Magic books, while excellent, are not my favorites. Of the Tortall books you have read, which one/series is your favorite?

Rojo- I think my favorites are the Trickster duo, followed by Provost's Dog, then by the Wild Magic quartet
Katty-it's pretty much my favorite show right now =) Except for Ryan. He squicks me out "/

Oh same! He is SO creepy. Also the whole Tommy storyline is SO stupid, they obviously just wanted to write his actor out of the show  |

Oh! I forgot to mention Buri and Thayet! They're good characters as well, I liked the refugee storyline, and the relationship between the two young women really struck me as being close to reality.
Tommy annoys me a lot. The Lena storyline, while I /get/ he was upset about Julia really made me dislike him. Now, with this whole Mexico thing-I just don't like him at all. Especially in Spring Broken, when he was being a general asshat to Justin about Rebecca and med school.

Welcome, Jukebox! I was never a big Circle fan, either, though they've grown on me quite a bit in the past few years. You won't get any hate from me. In general, we Goldenlakers (my, that sounds like a sports team!) don't bite.  I think I may just love you for being a Les Miserables fan. Do you have a favorite cast recording (I'm assuming between that and Newsies that you mean the musical and not the book)? Psst, a PM will be arriving in your inbox shortly.  |

Newsies, as in the sorely overlooked 1992 Disney movie? The very same. Favorite LM recording as of the moment would be the 2008-2009 Dutch Cast. They're amazing! I like your icon Billy/Penny ftw! |
