Hey! I'm Joei and I'm a little terrified, this is my first step into Tamora Pierce fandom!
Although saying that I am in no way new to the books themselves. Been reading since 1996/1997 (I know I was in my last year of Secondary School - UK-er, sorry - 15-16 years old) when a friend handed me Alanna and told me I would love it... She wasn't wrong! 12 years on (GODS) and I still love them, have read everything up to Will of the Empress on the Circle side and Tricksters Queen on the Tortall side - Am waiting until all the Beka books are out before I order them all together and have a week of awesome (I can't cope with the waiting between books, I learnt that lesson with TC and TQ!).
I'm currently still pouting that the books are now impossible to get here in the UK, it sucks beyond imagination, without Amazon I would be lost (though I bought TC and TQ online because I refused point blank to wait a year or two until they came out here)!
Reading is definitely a vice of mine, am currently working my way through a pile of Terry Pratchett (always fun), Mercedes Lackey (I can't seem to stop buying them) and Tanya Huff books. Well I say currently, in reality I'm on a re-read of Tricksters Queen (one of my friends just read it and it made me want to read it all over again).
I also tend to babble, can you tell?
Outside of reading the other thing I am most passionate about is Motorsport, especially Formula One racing!!!
I'll stop typing now, congratulations if you made it to the end of all that!
