As of now, I can think of two rules regarding spoilers in this forum:
1. Keep them in THIS forum.
While a lot of discussions about The Provost's Dog can be linked to general Tortallan discussions, we have to show respect for people who have not had access to or time to read this new series.
2. Use common sense.
There are two thoughts regarding spoilers. One is that absolutely everything is a spoiler. One is that the mundane things (Beka wears a spike in her braid for extra defense!) isn't really a spoiler.
Chances are, if you're browsing this forum you have likely read Terrier or you want to learn about it without minding spoilers.
Given that, I would say that it's safe to say whatever you like about Terrier in this forum without worrying about spoiler notices.
Now, some ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) of Bloodhound are out and about in the world. To those of us who have had the chance to read it: we need to be careful and place spoiler warnings in our posts if we're referring to things specific to this book.
Bloodhound is scheduled for an April release, so there will be a bit of a lag while everyone gets their copies. I would request that for the first several months, people use common sense and post a spoiler warning for things that might be touchier - who the big bad guys are, who might be romantically connected, etc., etc.
If it's something that's listed on the book flap, it's not really a spoiler. So just be careful and courteous as you post. If you're not sure whether it should have a warning, always proceed on the side of caution!
Thanks!
Lisa
Also, 9. What was Lady Knight Sabine’s quarrel with King Roger?
