Title: Never Let This Go Rating: G Summary: Written for the 31_days challenge. Prompt: #9 - The end of something. Theme: Tris.
Tris looked around the table at her three siblings, watching their faces. Sandry’s face lit up whenever someone spoke, her lips parting to reveal a beguiling white smile. Her wedding was only a few days, and she was glowing already.
Turning her attention to the others, she took note of the way Daja tapped her metal-gloved hand on the table, playing out a silent, nervous rhythm as she listened to Briar speak. Briar was his usual charming self, though Tris detected the forced manner of his wide grin, his eyes crinkling when he laughed.
It’s always us, she tried to reassure herself. But the words felt anxious and stilted in her mind, so she pushed them away and smiled as Sandry turned to ask her something.

This is great I love how well you've portrayed their anxiety and fear of Sandry's wedding, and it's a nice juxtaposing of Sandry's obliviousness to the fact they could be falling apart.

Growing up can be so hard and wonderful and you portrayed it realistically.
