Title: World Spins Madly On Rating: G Summary: Written for the 31_days challenge. Prompt: #4 - Nothing ended, nothing begun, nothing resolved. Theme: Tris.
Sandry cries for two weeks. Tris can see that she is trying to pull herself together, trying to be strong and hold it all inside. She catches her sobbing at the sink one day, back bent under the overwhelming pain and unfairness of it all, the hole in her chest as clear as the midday sun.
It shames her, but more often than not, Tris turns away. She goes upstairs to her room. She sits on her bed. She looks at the clouds. She closes her eyes and just listens to the howl of the wind.
Because as much as it hurts Sandry after Vedris’s death, as much as it hurts to see her sister like that, it hurts Tris a little bit more that nobody seems to realise what she has lost, or notices the pieces of her heart that are crumbling away.

Oooh. That is a fascinating take on this prompt! A neat nod to all the complexity--that may only be fan conjecture--of Tris and Vedris, as well as a lovely, dense character study.

This captures both Tris and Sandry really well, and I think the connection Tris and Vedris have (or could have, or could have had) definitely fits the prompt.

I get definite lingering "what if" regarding Tris/Vedris (or Tris-and-Vedris) given the prompt, and it fascinates me so much. And I feel for Tris (er, though not as much as I feel for Sandry, which makes me a perpertrator of Tris's pain, too, I guess).
This is a really great prompt-response. And it's really beautiful.

This is lovely. I totally got a Tris/Vedris vibe (not that I really need to look for it). And capture Tris and Sandry wonderfully.

I always forget that Tris and Vedris also have a strong relationship, even though Sandry and Vedris's relationship seems most prominent.
