Hello!
I'm columbineicefilter. I used to be part of Steelsings, and I was very glad to discover that this board still exists.
My favourite quartet is Song of the Lioness, and my favourite Emelan mage is Briar, but I love everything Tammy, really. I also love Garth Nix and just recently finished and enjoyed Sarah J. Maas' Throne of Glass books. I like a lot of YA fantasy books. I also love Lego lol. I'm a dog-lover, but I like all animals.
I hope to meet new friends here and maybe even see old ones from Steelsings (even though I wasn't very active ^_^).

Welcome aboard, columbineicefilter! We’re happy to have you. The Song of the Lioness quartet was the first Tammy series I read. The first book I read as part of a book club and I loved it so much I had to race out and buy the others. I have been hooked ever since. Briar is a great character so I understand why he is your favorite of the Emelan mages. Nice to meet another dog lover. I recently got a rescue dog. She is very sweet but we are still working to overcome her anxiety issues.

Hi, nice to meet you! I was never on Steelsings, but I definitely heard a lot about it back in the day.

Hello, guys, and thank you for the warm welcome! When I was on Steelsings, I would come across this board referenced in some threads. I didn't role-play then, but I did create a character and posted his story in the thread. I will probably just use him in a story somewhere lol. Alanna: The First Adventure was also the first Tammy book I read. I read it like five times before I was able to get my hands on the rest of the quartet. I wasn't aware that there were others. It was about five years before I saw the Immortals quartet in a bookstore. I have all of the Tortall and Emelan books now, but I haven't read Tempests and Slaughter. Sort of waiting for the rest XD devilinthedetailsIt is so nice to hear that you got a rescue dog. I hope that she will overcome her issues soon. <3 My avatar is my dog who passed away in 2016. I don't have my own dog right now, but I adore my cousin's dogs and my boyfriend's family's dogs and cats XD Again, I'm so happy to be part of this forum. I only know three people who read YA fantasy, and our interests do not always align. Thank you again!

@combineicefilter Yeah, I love my new rescue dog. She is a cute cross between a lab and a collie. Every day she gets better and better in terms of her anxiety, which is encouraging. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dog, but the picture in your avatar is adorable. Welcome again! I hope you'll enjoy your time on this site
