Title: COda Rating: G Word Count: 38 Summary (and any Warnings): Wyldon /almost/ lets his feelings show. Notes: Part 5 of "The Turning of the Seasons".
It took all his restraint and years of schooling his features to not smile in relief as he looked down at the two Knights and one Squire kneeling in front of him, safely returned from Scanra at last.

I loved this scene in the books. So glad you chose to write about it here. It's touching how Wyldon has to draw on his years of restraint to not smile at Kel and the others when they return safely from Scanra. That's such a believable emotion from him: that he would feel a lot but not want to show it too obviously.

Thanks for all your comments on my mini saga! This is my favourite scene in any Tammy book, so I felt it was appropriate to close with it.

Thanks for all your comments on my mini saga! This is my favourite scene in any Tammy book, so I felt it was appropriate to close with it. I really enjoyed your mini saga, and I especially appreciated the focus on Wyldon, one of my favorite characters. I always get overwhelmed with feelings when I reread this scene which I must have done about a hundred times so I totally understand why it is your favorite, and I'm so glad that you chose to explore it. It also really makes a perfect closing point for this mini saga.
