September Event: Minor Characters Week!
Ready to shine the spotlight onto the minor characters that you love or think deserve more attention? Now is the time to do it! Goldenlake will be hosting Minor Characters' Week from 17 September to 1 October 2016.
Entries can take the form of fanfiction, poetry, fanart, songs, anything you like to shower your favourite minor character with love and appreciation (as long as it complies with the Goldenlake rules).
Definition of a Minor Character
A minor character is defined as a character that supports the main character in a story. They do not undergo significant growth or change particularly visible to the readers. Minor characters are any characters not included in the following list:
Emelan: Sandry, Tris, Briar, Daja, Lark, Rosethorn, Frostpine, Niko, Crane, Evvy, Pasco, Kethlun
Tortall: Alanna, Roger, Jon, George, Raoul, Thayet, Daine, Numair, Ozorne, Kel, Neal, Wyldon, Aly, Dove, Nawat
Provost's Dog: Beka, Clary, Mattes

What you need to know
1. Normal Goldenlake fanfiction rules on ratings and content apply.
2. All fics must have a 100 word minimum, but there is no maximum.
3. Normal Goldenlake content rules apply to all non-fic entries.
4. Please try to keep any visual pieces/fanart to a reasonable size. Remember, many people browse Goldenlake through an app or mobile version.
5. You may submit as many different entries as you like, in as many mediums and for as many characters as you like.
6. Most importantly, have fun!
