This month's prompt is anything to do with shops, market stalls or trade. In other words, buying, bartering and selling.
Both Emelan and Tortall (and their neighbours) have economies - legal, illegal, macro and micro, thriving and slow - for just about every product and service imaginable. Trade permeates nearly every aspect of every society.
Does one of the four meet the love of their life on market day? What mysteries might a Harrier stumble on when they follow a tip-off about a dragonsalt deal? And what curios or keepsakes did Amiliane and Mattin bring back home, in all their travels?
Further from home, you could explore the longstanding feud between the merchants and the Traders, describe the barter system that might be used by Sotaten street rats, or give us a glimpse of Khapik through the eyes of a yaskedasu.
Tell us about a quiet day in Tian and Lalasa's shop, a conversation Dove might have had with Edgecliff, a monarch's negotiations, Wyldon buying Vivienne an engagement ring, a spy giving up her secrets for a price, or Onua at a horse fair. Do the tiny, remote villages of Carthak's vast empire have their own system of trade, their own hierarchies and value system, or have they, like the Bazhir, been subsumed into mainstream ways of trading?
What will your characters exchange, and will their gains outweigh their losses?
