Title: Commanding Love Rating: G Word Count: 115 Summary (and any Warnings): Lerant’s not exactly Prince Charming, but if Kel wanted that, she’d have pursued Roald. Notes/Links:Belligerent Sexual Tension and my vast knowledge of romance cliches. No literary critics have been harmed (physically) in the making of this blurb. The second lady knight can handle a sword, but can she handle these strange new feelings?Years have passed since Lady Knight Keladry of Mindelan last saw Lerant of Eldorne. Time has cooled the blaze of their rivalry, but not Lerant’s searing gaze. She can’t help the flutter of her heart or the heating of her cheeks when Lerant walks by… or her friend Neal’s obsessive need to comment on it! No one really expects anything to happen between the gutsy commander and the brooding standard-bearer, especially considering the two’s rocky past. Kel, though, is used to breaking expectations. When Lerant is assigned to New Hope, sparks will fly… but from swordfights or first kisses?

Oooh, nice interpretation of the trope! You've really made me believe in the possibility of their love here (and possible sword fight!). I also like your use of the tag line and the phrase "searing gaze"

Great last line - very simple, very Harlequin-y.
