Title: The Spotlight Suitor Rating: G Word Count: 122 Summary (and any Warnings): More with the modern non-magic AUs. But in Emelan now, whoop whoop. Notes/Links: Probably a lot of tropes, but I can't think of them off the top of my head. As far as the Shakespeare goes, I know exactly what I have done.
Prodigious, ambitious Pasco Acalon is fast becoming a superstar of the ballet world unseen since the days of Nureyev, but if he wants to make his independent company a success, he’ll need more than just his feet to carry his ballet into the history books.
Orphan and philanthropist Sandrilene fa Toren is determined to show her overbearing cousins that she can hold her own in the glamorous, elaborate world of patronage, so when the sensual, young dancer asks for her support it seems like the solution both have been seeking.
But when all the world’s a stage, seduction becomes paramount, and it won’t be long before the professional limits of their relationship are tested by the passion and promise of the dance…

And now I want to read this... I think someone needs to kill all this blurbing because it makes me want the read the actual stories. The blurb was great though.

Max, you are killing me with your adjectives! They are always so spot on!
This is such a great blurb - something I can really see happening!

Thank you Kyp! Using adjectives this way reminds me of the way I used to write when I was 12. It's very fun times haha.

This is brilliant and because I haven't read the Circle books it actually sounds to me like a legitimate blurb rather than fanfiction.
You are amazing at these, you get the perfect balance of adjectives and dramatic sentences and all the other harlequin things I can't quite put a name to, but at the same time they don't sound cheesy. So yeah, really awesome.

whimonda YOU TOTALLY NEED TO READ EMELAN. RIGHT NOW TODAY! Because. Emelan is beautiful. Also, thank you so much for the lovely feedback (though I still feel delightfully cheesy and silly writing them lol).
