This is just a reminder to all members that posting on Goldenlake should be kept in the positive, fun spirit in which the board was created. While members may feel strongly or disagree on certain topics, I ask that you keep in mind the young-adult nature of the books and fandom, and the light-hearted nature of the board.
Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action being taken against any members responsible.
"Antisocial behaviour and offensive posting" includes but is not limited to, bullying members, open hostility towards members, personal attacks on members, disruptive posting, swearing, and anything else deemed by the Administrators as offensive, inappropriate, unacceptable or likely to inflame, in the context in which it is posted.
Passion and debate about topics is fine (and even encouraged), as long as it does not convene the above guidelines.
"The young-adult nature of the books" refers to the recommended age of the books (young to mid teens, or, "young adult") and the tendency for the fandom to be comprised of girls aged 13 to 17.
Happy posting, Glakers!

This is just a reminder to everyone that double posting is not permitted on the boards. If you have something more to say, please use the 'edit' function to add to your post.
The only exceptions to this rule are the 'Chat Thread' and the posting of new chapters in a fanfiction thread, and the reasons for those exceptions are rather self-explanatory.
