GOLDENLAKE FAIRYTALES CHALLENGE
WHAT
A month long competition where authors write fanfics that are adaptations of or inspired by fairytales and nursery rhymes. The competition starts October 1st and closes October 31st.
There will be a number of categories, probably along the lines of Best Overall Entry, Best Romance, Best Humour, Best Fairytale Adaptation and Best Nursery Rhyme Adaptation. After the competition closes there will be one week of nominations and one week of voting (i.e. judging will be done by popular vote). After voting, winners will be announced.
RULES
1. Entries MUST be posted in their entirety to the Competitions forum on the Goldenlake board.
2. Entries must be a minimum 500 words longand at least two sentences. There is no maximum word length.
3. All entries, to be eligible for nominations and prize givings, must abide by Goldenlake’s fanfiction rules and ratings system.
4. A member may submit as many entries as they like, providing they do not breach Goldenlake's spamming rules.
5. Moderators and Admin reserve the right to remove from the forum or deny prizes to any entries found not to comply to the GFC rules or the Goldenlake rules.
