Summary: Lark never thought she could love pollen.
Pollen’s job was to spread out and help the plants grow strong into the next generation. Rosethorn used her magic like pollen. She spread into all the green things around her helping them to survive and pass their genes into the future generations.
Pollen, however, tended to make people sick, especially people who were especially sensitive. A certain prickly green mage thought that her effect on people was very like that of pollen. She knew her purpose, but it could irritate those around her to no end.
Lark knew the effects of pollen from experience. For years, she had feared that the very plants around her would trigger one of her episodes. Until she met Rosethorn, Lark had never thought she could love pollen.
