Summary: Second installment
“What the... Aaaargh!”,
“THUMP!”
“Huh?” Joren sat up straight flicking hair out of his eyes. He looked down to find his body bare and a pile of his bed covers on the floor. Kel’s head popped out of its folds, her eyes wide.
“Oh no!” she groaned.
“Come on it’s not that bad”
“Your not the one who will be sent home, the door was bloody closed.”
“Ok next time Ill leave it open?”
“You actually don’t get it”
“No I really don’t”
“I think I’m going to be sick”
He watched as she gathered the quilt around her and hurried to his privy. Sighing Joren slid out of bed and knelt behind Kel as she threw up last night’s feast. He held her short lengths of her hair away from her mouth.
“Don’t even” he heard her mutter between turkey and mash potato
“Please don’t talk, do you think this is pleasant?”
“No one told you to come follow me,” she said washing her mouth out, all the time, with difficulty, ensuring the covers stayed around her.
“It’s not like it’s going to make any difference,” he said gesturing to her covers tightly wrapped around her. “I’ve already seen everyt….”
“Please don’t remind me, now you listen to me, no one is ever to know about this, no one, do you hear me, nobody!” she stressed the last word and nodded when she thought that he had got it.
“But what if I have feelings for…”
“You don’t” Joren raised his eyebrows.
“Your Joren of stone mountain, and you have no feelings for anyone, ever. You live up to your name your stone.”
“Ouch, hang on in what way” Kel shook her head at his sly smile.
“Goodbye Joren”
Kel strode out into the main room threw her clothes on and stalked out of the room.
