Irrefutable II G 195 Rikash 1/B Summary: Kel, Rikash, some not so playful banter.
'I hear you shoot at stormwings...'
She folds her arms, cursing herself for having decided – this one morning out of any other – to have remained in her nightshirt for her glaive practice. ‘What’s it to you?’
He doesn’t answer immediately, taking the time to flick his eyes over her body, say ‘I hope you didn’t do that on my account. False modesty doesn’t become you,’ before he shrugs, an elegantly slow rise and fall of wings that ripple and catch splinters of dawn light. ‘Perhaps I wonder why you do not shoot at me.’
‘You allied yourself with us,’ she says eventually, using the reasoning she repeats to herself silently in his presence. ‘You’re not like the others.
‘I am exactly like the others.’
And he places an emphasis on the last words, mocking her.
‘I apologise for the offence,’ she says tightly. ‘I can’t help it that I find your way of life so obscene.’
But instead of doing anything satisfying, Rikash Moonsword rolls his eyes. ‘You mortals are so…’ searching for a word, ‘predictable.’
You are as mortal as I am she is about to counter, and I’m not falsely modest, I just don’t like you but he interrupts.

With manners like his, I'm surprised Kel doesn't just sock him a good one to teach him a lesson. I feel that an interaction like this would be very in-character, too! Well done!
