Title: Luxuria Rating: PG Length: 124 words Competitor: Baird Round/Fight: 1/D Summary: Extravagance. It's his weakness, though he’s spent his life thinking he was better than that. (note that “extravagance” was replaced by “lust” when the seven deadly sins evolved.)
He was a prudent child, despite growing up in the wealth and opulence of Queenscove. He was raised on the very best of things – silk sheets, the best wines in all of the Eastern Lands, jewelry to give to the ladies in his life. But it was not long before he knew that his life would be dedicated to caution and care.
And in his simple life of duty – taking care of the sick in the palace, healing the wounded in war – he finds a distraction. He spends too much time gazing hazel eyes, enjoying the lips that lavish him with affection. Savoring each stroke, each embrace, he realizes that he’s no better than his Queenscove forbearers: like them, he is enjoying to excess.

Your language matches the theme. Luxurious. Wonderfully done.

Thank you guys! Kit - I didn't even notice what I was doing with the words, but I'm so glad you pointed it out.

Very lovely! I like the situational contrast - prudent as a child and indulgent as he grows older.

Thanks!! I thought long and hard on that one, and couldn't resist.
