Title: Mancala
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100
Summary: Kaddar teaches his son how to play mancala.
Mancala
Princes of Carthak learned to play mancala as soon as they could count and be trusted not to place the gemstones in their inquisitive mouths.
Kaddar was guiding Binur through his first game of mancala now. It was Binur’s turn, and he reached out to grab the pair of jewels two holes down from his home.
“You certain you want to do that, son?” Kaddar arched an eyebrow. The hollow before Binur’s home had a single gem in it.
Binur frowned and then realized what Kaddar meant, sliding the single gemstone into his home before scooping up the other two.

mistrali, thank you so much for commenting! I do love writing Carthak fics when they inspiration strikes, and I was so happy when this idea of Kaddar playing mancala with his son came to me! So glad you enjoyed this story and the glimpse of Kaddar gently coaching his son. Writing Kaddar as a father is always fun for me!
