Title: Washed Away Rating: PG Word Count: 29 Summary: Shinko washes away grub and grime from her daughter’s ankles. Notes: Part V of my Shinko series. Written for mistrali’s prompt “Grub.” Thanks to mistrali for the inspiration. Lian is my nickname for Roald and Shinko’s daughter Lianokami, becuase I personally prefer it to Liano. Washed Away Shinko washed away the grub and the grime from Lian’s ankles, scolding her daughter for escaping Lady Haname and leaping about like a toad in a garden mud puddle.

Oh, Shinko, you don’t know what you’re in for! Who knows, Liam might take after her aunts and uncles (Yuki, Kally and the more boisterous Conte siblings).
I love this because it also makes me wonder about the personalities of Lian’s relatives, who canon doesn’t give us much for.

mistrali, so sorry for the delayed response! I just realized I forgot to reply to your comment, but thank you so much for your kind comment! You're right that poor Shinko doesn't know what she is in for because I think little Lian might turn out to be a bit more stubborn and mischievous than either Roald or Shinko. I'm so glad that you loved this and that it made you wonder more about the personalities of Lian's relatives who we don't learn much about in canon. I would like to write more about Shinko's family one day if inspiration strikes!
